/ The challenge
When Katia Reguero Lindor launched The Unaparent Podcast, she was starting almost from scratch: a brand-new parenting podcast with no established audience, and a YouTube channel that needed to be rebuilt from the ground up. There was no defined content strategy yet, nor a system in place to identify and secure guests who could truly connect with her community.
On top of that, Katia’s personal brand was tied largely to her husband, professional athlete Francisco Lindor — which meant part of the challenge was building her own voice around her real message and value, independent of that association.
The challenge was twofold. On one hand, we needed to build real organic visibility on YouTube, the platform with the greatest growth potential for the project. On the other, Katia needed to reach two distinct audiences within the same market: Spanish-speaking and English-speaking families across the U.S. and Puerto Rico, each with their own references, language, and needs around parenting content.
Without a solid content strategy or a clear process for attracting strategic guests, the channel risked losing momentum: good content, but without the reach it deserved.
/ The solution
Well-planned content, specific guests, and rigorous optimization — that was the formula.
At Yucalab, we designed this approach together with the Unaparent team: combining content strategy with public relations to secure strategic guests, built to connect simultaneously with Hispanic and English-speaking audiences within the parenting niche.
The approach was built on three pillars:
/ Here’s how we made it work
We started with a competitor analysis and keyword research to understand audience needs, then defined a clear editorial line, with content ideas and pillars built specifically for the parenting audience. Every episode was planned to bring real value to bilingual, bicultural families, rather than chasing passing trends.
In a second phase, we implemented a PR strategy focused on identifying and securing strategic guests, both Spanish- and English-speaking. This allowed The Unaparent Podcast to expand its reach beyond its initial audience — not only across the U.S. and Puerto Rico, but also building a strong presence in Mexico and the Dominican Republic, connecting with new bicultural communities throughout the region.
A thorough SEO audit helped us identify a key differentiator: her personal brand. At the start of the project, monthly searches for her name were modest — around 480 for “Katia Lindor” and 210 for “Katia Reguero Lindor.” Today, according to Google Ads Keyword Planner, both terms fall within the 1K–10K monthly search range, a meaningful jump in name recognition. While this growth reflects several factors beyond our work alone, our personal brand SEO strategy played a real role in building that independent, name-based online presence, rooted in her own voice and a distinct message.
We established an efficient collaboration model between Yucalab and Studio Dama, the agency behind The Unaparent’s full production — with producer Marina Aldarondo at the heart of it all, the one who keeps every moving piece connected season after season. This partnership streamlines pre-production, including much of the guest identification and outreach; The Unaparent’s team handles recording and post-production; and Yucalab optimizes and publishes every episode. This workflow kept output consistent without overloading the internal team.
As part of the broader content strategy, we identified an opportunity to bring The Unaparent Podcast to TikTok, a platform where Katia didn’t yet have a meaningful presence. Yucalab took on this channel, growing it in parallel with Studio Dama’s work on Instagram. Rather than relying solely on repurposed podcast clips, we built original content around Katia’s more personal, everyday moments, a format that has consistently driven strong engagement. In the past year alone, the account generated over 1.6 million video views and gained more than 4,200 new followers, growing the community to over 11,000 followers total. With nearly 40,000 profile visits and more than 55,000 likes, it’s clear this audience isn’t just scrolling past, they’re actively engaging with Katia’s story.
/ The results
YouTube has become the project’s main growth engine, positioning The Unaparent Podcast as a go-to voice in parenting for two communities that often receive content built for only one of them.
Working with Yucalab has been an incredibly enjoyable experience and partnership. They are very knowledgeable, well connected, and are always willing to go above and beyond. The team is kind and patient and are always completely transparent if they ever feel a task should be outsourced. Their unique connections have led to interesting collaborations with individuals we would have not had the opportunity to meet otherwise, something we are very grateful for. In addition to their industry expertise and services, Alex and Jose are a joy to chat with on a weekly basis and I always look forward to their energy and enthusiasm in our meetings.

Connecting with Spanish and English speaking audiences at the same time starts with one thing: knowing exactly who you’re talking to. That means building well-defined buyer personas, understanding their behavior and real needs, and creating quality content that speaks directly to what they’re looking for. That’s why we create content rooted in real situations, the kind so many people live through every day.
At Yucalab, we help brands and creators build real organic digital presence, combining content strategy, SEO optimization, and public relations to connect with the audiences that actually matter.
