Turning a Finance Podcast into a Digital Platform

When Julio Cañas, founder of Fintelhub and creator of the original Finanzas Orgánicas podcast, decided to rebrand and relaunch it as Despierta Tus Finanzas Podcast, he also launched a new digital platform with a clear goal: grow the audience, improve visibility, and start monetizing the content.

Despite producing valuable episodes, the show lacked a structured SEO content strategy and a consistent publishing rhythm. The YouTube channel had low visibility and wasn’t monetized, and the website wasn’t ranking for high-intent financial keywords in Spanish.

  • Creation of a blog with over 50 articles to complement podcast and video content
  • Internal linking structure to increase page authority and session duration

We also introduced a weekly content calendar to improve consistency, something both platforms and audiences reward.

2. Website Optimization

We created a dedicated podcast section within the new Fintelhub website. Each episode had its own SEO-optimized landing page, written with both the user and search engine in mind. Each page included:

  • Strategic keywords
  • Fast-loading images
  • Smart internal linking

This significantly improved Fintelhub’s visibility on Google.

3. YouTube Channel Optimization

We revamped the channel based on SEO insights:

  • Rewrote titles and descriptions for discoverability
  • Created compelling thumbnails to boost CTR
  • Grouped episodes into playlists to enhance discoverability and retention
  • Added short-form educational videos (Píldoras de Bioneurofinanzas) based on search intent to attract new audiences

 

When YouTube Shorts launched, we repurposed IG content into vertical videos, some Shorts reached over 30K views, bringing in hundreds of new subscribers.
